Wooden Animal Jigsaw Puzzle with Large Pieces

A wooden jigsaw puzzle with cheerful cartoon animals and large pieces that are easy for small hands to hold. It is a lovely first puzzle for babies and toddlers who are just learning how shapes fit together.

What your child learns

• Shape matching: turning and fitting pieces teaches how shapes fit.
• Hand-eye coordination: large pieces are easy to grasp and place.
• Animal names: name each animal as it goes into place.

Why parents like it

Wood is sturdy and feels good to hold, and big pieces are easier for toddlers than cardboard jigsaws. Start by doing it together, then watch your child try it alone as their confidence grows. Large pieces also make it easier to tidy up and keep track of every piece. It is a thoughtful gift for a first or second birthday and grows with your child as they learn to finish it alone.
